Ernest Bebenimbo Flags off Foundation in Delta Community, 



**Sheriff Mulade, Guwor, Ekpemupolo Commends Foundation for Support to Less Privileged

A gbaramatu born philanthropist, Ernest Bebenimbo has flaged off Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation in Delta community.

The flagg off ceremony took place on Tuesday at Okerenkoko community, Warri-South West local government area of Delta State.


The founder of the foundation, Mr. Ernest Bebenimbo, durring the occasion donates Wrappers and other items to give succour to less privileged, Elderly women, widows, students.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion include the former Chairman of the local government, Hon.George Ekpemupolo,  represented by Bar. Ovie Christian,



The National Coordinator, Center for Peace and Environmental Justice, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, Represented by Ezekiel Kagbala FPR,

Member representing Warri South-West constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Represented by Bar. Vincent Nadifa legal Assistant. 

They commended Ernerst Bebenimbo foundation and the founder for using the occasion to bring succour to the needy.

Others present at the occasion includes the Vice Chairman, Okerenkoko community, Hon. Alex Governor,
 Gbaramatu Chief, Azaiye Piniki, representative from Zenith Bank PLC
Mr. Ese Adjarhore,  


SA on security and Community Development to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Simeon Bebenimibo, Engr. Micheal Tonlagha Elder German Nelson and host of other.

In his speech, Enest Bebenimbo said "This foundation is set up to help the elderly, widows and less privileged women and give educational support/empowerment for children.  

"The foundation is non-partisan, non-governmental, not-for-profit making but it is a Pan-African, Niger Delta based Organization". He said

NMU Governing Council chairman seeks solutions to challenges facing varsity The Acting Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State,  Adewale Adeogun, has appealed for immediate action to address the pressing challenges facing the institution.   Adeogun, who spoke during the council meeting  in Warri, expressed deep concern over the university’s underdevelopment despite its six-year existence. Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
