NULGE Exco Isoko North inaugurated in Delta
The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Isoko North Council Branch in Delta State. today inaugurated Executive members to pilot ita affairs in the next four years. The inauguration held at the NULGE Hall of the Isoko North Council's Secretariat. In a remark presented at the inauguration, NULGE Chairman Isoko North Council, Esime Gideon expressed delight at the large turnout of members of the Union for the inauguration and thanked them for the trust they have in voting all of them into office. 

Comrade Gideon assured them that they will not regret selecting and voting the executive. 

While boasting that he will beat the records of his predecessor, Comrade Gideon appealed to members of the union to help the executive with useful informations that will make them succeed in office. "Call any of us, and will give you listening ears."

He also said the newly inaugurated Executive is going to elevate Isoko North again. 

Comrade Gideon also urged members of the executive to shun all forms of acrimony and work together as a team for interest of the union and welfare of its members which he said is topmost in his agenda. 

The Head of Department (Legal Services), Barr. Avae Lucky administered the oath of office on the executive members. 

The executive members includes, Esime Gideon, Chairman, Comrade(Amb.) Sarah Couple Ulueme, Vice Chairman, Emeozor Josephine, Woman leader, Akpotaraeno Gabriel O, Secretary, Charles Ugboduma, Treasurer, Oronge Bright Onovide, Assistant Secretary, Edesie Theophilus, Auditor, Otunabu Goodluck, Trustee, Eligjomue Ifoghale, Welfare, Uthomalue, Young Worker, Idierukevbe Felix, Public Relations Officer,P.R.O. 

Others includes, Ododo Bridget Oke, F&S, Usuoyibo Evi, Legislative, Aleve Faith, Legal, Anighoro Okiemute Nelson, Community, Akpomalue Lydia, Environmental, Emekoro Godspower.O. BPRS, Mukoro Blessing Oredena,PHC, Aduhor Harrison, Agric, Evi.O. Philips, Works, Ido Juliet, Education and Awaridhe Joy, Admin. 

Comrade(Amb.) Sarah Couple Ulueme later treated guests and her colleagues to a lavished reception shortly after swearing-in as Vice Chairman.

NMU Governing Council chairman seeks solutions to challenges facing varsity The Acting Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State,  Adewale Adeogun, has appealed for immediate action to address the pressing challenges facing the institution.   Adeogun, who spoke during the council meeting  in Warri, expressed deep concern over the university’s underdevelopment despite its six-year existence. Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
