Delta 2023: Vote buying, Voters Harassment Damped My Enthusiasm....Ken Pela
The Delta State Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Deacon Ken Pela has lamented that vote buying and Harassment of voters has damped his enthusiasm for the March 18 2023 election.
He said this in his country home in Oginobo, Ughelli South local government area of the state.
” I believe Deltans, Obidient movement and non obidient would vote me into power” .he said
Deacon Pela continued, I shared a vision of better Deltans that has been bought into by people of the state ”
He explained that he cannot be descouraged with report of attack in form of harassment in some places across the state .
Deacon Pele says the most worrisome is the issues of vote buying which he said damped his enthusiasm.
He also noted that security agencies are no where to be found in the voting environment which implied that the authority cared less of safety of the people
The Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate says INEC is not ready for the election as there were cases where result sheets were missing, inadequate ballots paper to polling units where that are strong holds of labor party, changing of BVAS machine for reasons best known to them.
