2023: How Gbagi Would Liberate, Remodel, Create Industries in Delta

By Ezekiel Kagbala

Olorgun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi,OON FNIM, A former minister of State for education has been described as one of those who would be liberating Delta State from bad governance come 2023.

Though the State is one of the richest in the country in terms of the revenue it receives from the federation's account, there is visually nothing of value to show for all the lavishing.

Gbagi's campaign organization is on the liberation move, engaging with ward, local government executives, leaders, elders and stakeholders to join the wakeup-call and liberate Deltans from poverty.

Gbagi will certainly liberate Deltans from a government that is famous for celebrating increased unemployment, industrial collapse, hopelessness, poor quality and near total lack of infrastructure that further complicate bad conditions.

Deltan cannot remain in the ancestry of a government known for irresponsible borrowing and reckless spending.

Gbagi's Capacity to liberate Delta State has been demonstrated years back when he transformed nothing into something in Warri.

The reopened of the Light house Cinema to further infuse life into the once prosperous oil city of Warri specifically, Uwvie local government area was a venture to create new jobs and opportunities for many.

Deltans could also verify that; some decades ago, a former military governor of the defunct Midwest Region, Late Major General David Ejoor (retd), was amazed when Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, turned up with bulldozers and other earthmoving equipment and descended on a swampy terrain, which residents of the area had turned to a refuse dump.

The ex-military governor thought that only the Federal Government, as it were, would have the wherewithal to embark on a colossal project of reclaiming such a large expanse of marshy terrain.

The former military governor did not believe that anybody could turn the “rejected land” to something but surprised that Gbagi's company, GKO Properties acquired the dumpsite,

On that inhospitable surroundings stands today Delta state’s version of Computer Village, Lagos, over 600 Shopping Plaza named after his father, Robinson, and by far, the biggest shopping mall in the state, providing a means of livelihood, directly and indirectly for 4,500 Deltans.

Ggbagi, a criminologist, a lawyer and investor was moved with passion to lay a foundation of better and greater Delta State by investing in the state. Without sentiments the sterling leadership qualities of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi would make Delta State a reference point for national pride.
In the history of Delta State, Chief Kenneth Gbagi is unarguably the most successful investor that has influenced more economic growth and infrastructural development for Deltans.

Deltans must ensure that a man with proven integrity and capacity is elected to provide good governance that is much needed in State.

Come 2023 upon his emergence as Governor, he would bring his wealth of knowledge and experience as an entrepreneur to bear on the job and transform the state into Nigeria’s industrial hub with positive implication for job and wealth creation especially for the youths and unemployed graduates.
