You can't hide your involvement in blackmail against Gbagi, GSM Suspects Okowa

The Gbagi Solidarity Movement, GSM, has told Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, that he could no longer hide being suspected in what it described as the politically motivated court Judgement, pernicious propaganda, and blackmail against the State's 2023 Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi.

The group, in a statement by the acting coordinator, Raymond Iniovosa said; "No amount of blackmail or intimidation could stop Gbagi, a former Minister of State for Educattion  from becoming the governor of  State, come 2023.

The statement read: "Governor Okowa can no longer hide his suspecious involvement in the politically motivated court Judgement, pernicious propaganda, and blackmail against Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi"

"Gbagi's team will not join issues with a governor who has been called a serial betrayer of trust"

"Okowa's government has lowered the economic fortunes of the state. His administrative recklessness has made Delta State a financially poor state"

"Okowa and his underdogs cannot stand the fame and political clout of Olorogun Gbagi, a former Minister for Education, who orchestrated the establishment of thirteen federal universities and polytechnics across the country, including the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) in Delta State"

"It was obvious that Okowa's spokesman is disconnected from reality. Development of Ughelli South Local Government Area and Oginibo Community remains the responsibility of Delta State Government, not Gbagi's responsibility. It is not surprising that Okowa has become a Governor who probate and rebate"

"In 2017, Okowa commissioned  Robinson Gbagi Mall and 18 pumps Falcon Bay Petrol Station at Effurun, Warri axis of the  State. Okowa appreciated Gbagi and stated that Uwvie will witness tremendous development following the return of industrialists Gbagi to the area. Gbagi has continued to invest in the state, notwithstanding the poor returns"

"Okowa is advised to focus on governance not fighting Gbagi who is not fighting him"

"Delta state is still bleeding profusely from over looting of our common patrimony to finance broke Fulani product, little wonder nothing is working in the state"

"Gbagi is magnanimous to allow Okowa to tap from his developmental and industrial strides. Apart from politics, Olorogun Gbagi is one of the most prominent and selfless industrialists in Nigeria and the pride of Niger Delta"

"On the contrary, Governor Okowa's  inordinate desire to continue feeding on the People's common patrimony after he leaves office has destabilized the polity. Okowa ended the internal democratic mechanism in PDP'

"He betrayed old friends, stabbed them and pushed his attitude to national level where he to become the vice presidential candidate using the state's resources"

"Deltans could see Okowa's character in all of these and how corruption, ineptness, and nepotism has killed the economic fortunes of the state"

"If Okowa could deny his father who  adopted Gbagi as his son and could call Gbagi a blackmailer, that shows how shallow minded desperate politicians could be. We are still looking for his integrity and morality"

"In all, Gbagi not belligerent toward Okowa who is intoxicated with power, greed selfishness and deceit."

Signed:
Comrade Raymond Iniovosa
Acting Coordinator, Gbagi Solidarity Movement (GSM)
