Ndokwa Nation Defies Rain, Welcomes Gbagi With Amazing Crowd (Photos/News)

 

Ahead of 2023 general election, over one thousand Deltans in Ndokwa nation have declared their unwevering support for Delta State Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi.


This came as the good people of Ndokwa Nation, Delta North Senatorial District, yesterday, Saturday, defied heavy downpour of rain to welcome Gbagi for his 2023 Governorship Declaration.

Gbagi at the declaration venue, Kwale/Ozoro expressway, Ndokwa West LGA, commended their outpouring of love and acceptance for him. He described the rain as a downpour of blessings and a new dawn in Ndokwa nation.


The Industrialist of national repute assured the people of Ndokwa Nation that just as They have defied the rain, they will also defy every odd to witness his swearing-in come 2023. "This rain will wipe out all sufferings of Deltans".


The Governorship further admonished them to reject false promises and manipulations, Gbagi said; "You cannot do the same thing all the time and expect different results, this is the time to reject 'Wayo', this is the time to reject 'WuruWuru' this is the time to vote for the right person".

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
