BSO, BURUTU APC LEADERS, BARISTER SMOOTH TO UNSEAT OKOWA, MANAGER

Members of the Buhari Support Organization, BSO Burutu wing, the famous Ijaw musical icon, Chief Barrister Smooth, Hon. George Timinimi and prominent Ijaws in the All Progressive Congress, APC, yesterday converged at the residence of former Delta State Governor, the Delta South Senatorial Candidate for APC, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru to seal up strategies ahead of the 2019 general elections.

In a gathering presided over by Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Chief Great Ogboru and members of the State APC leadership, constituted committee to mobilize supporters for the visit of President Mohammadu Buhari' for the flag off of APC campaign in Delta State and also perfect plans for a smooth ride into the State Government House to unseat governor Okowa with a shocking electoral victory as planed.

A members of the Buharri Support Organization, a national leader of Ijaw Youth Council, Demebide Jerome, disclosed to our correspondent in Warri that "Burutu Local Government area is for APC and Delta State will be delivered for APC, We are for President Mohammadu Buhari". he said

The former governor, Dr. Uduaghan in a private meeting with party chairmen, LGA coordinators and executive members, urged them to mobilize adequately for the upcoming elections to ensure that all LGA is mobilized for the election.

An APC member who pleaded anonymity disclosed to FocalPoint Reports that "Plans are on top gear to kick-out governor Okowa from Delta State government house and James Manager from the national Assembly using what ever means, the results will be announced and the tribunal will be available for aggrieved". he said

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship. The aggrieved retired police officers also wrote a Save Our Soul (SOS) letter to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, calling for an urgent intervention.
