NUJ Ughelli Chapel Commends Oborevwori for Appointment of Its Chairman as SSA
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ughelli Correspondent Chapel has commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for appointing its Chairman, Comrade Sunday Apah, as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media.
In a statement signed by Comrade Kparobor Eghwubare, Vice Chairman, and Hezekiah Ovedhe, Secretary, it was expressed that Apah’s appointment is another positive development for journalists serving in the current administration of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
The Chapel described the appointment as a well-deserved reward for diligence, dedication, and ingenuity.
The statement noted that Apah, through his years of reporting on the activities of the Delta State Government, has consistently demonstrated excellence, making this appointment a recognition of his continued commitment to quality work.
The Chapel expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment and expressed confidence that Comrade Apah would represent the union admirably while serving the state government in line with the Governor's MORE AGENDA for Deltans.
The statement urged media practitioners in the Chapel and throughout the state to conduct themselves with dignity and uphold the ethics of the profession in their work. It emphasized that diligence and hard work will always be recognized and rewarded.
