Governorship candidate in the March 18th election in Delta State under the auspices of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON, has felicitated with former President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, as he marks his 66th birthday anniversary.

Gbagi, a former Minister of State for Education, in a statement issued Monday November 20th 2023, by his Chief Press Secretary, Orusi Kenneth, noted the unique position of the former president in the growth and development of the nation.

He said Jonathan sacrificed personal ambition for the greater good of the country, and successfully winning the hearts of Nigerians and the world as a man of peace, by carrying on his legacy of truce and amity to many countries.

Gbagi who created one of the Federal Universities in Otueke, Jonathan's country home, joined the family, particularly his wife, Patience, and mother, Eunice, in celebrating another milestone in the former President’s life.

He said Jonathan’s profile should remind those in position and all aspiring leaders that serving the country and humanity required sacrifice, and ultimately, placing the interest of others above personal gains.

Gbagi, a former Chairman of the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, believed the friendliness, loyalty, and humility of Jonathan continue to open opportunities for service to humanity while defining a path for the former President to invest in people, institutions, and nations.
