Gbaramatu natural endowment , its fame handi-work of God---pst Ukuli


Pastor, Sam Ukuli of the Redeemed Church of God said Gbaramatu kingdom endowment in human, natural resources and its fame attained within Nigeria and beyond were the handi-work of God.


Ukuli stated this while reacting to contrary belief that the youths bodies from the kingdom were more engaged the worship of African Traditional Believe ATR with notion that their blessings comes from deities. 


Ukuli, who is one of senior pastors in the Redeemed Church of God made this assertion en-route from Warri to Ogun State positing that God's mandate for the Gbaramatu people is for the youths to embrace Jesus Christ for more blessings to the kingdom.


The cleric while wooing the youths admonished them to resist and reject devil, idolatry, fetish act noting ,' it is the blessing of God that endureth forever, but that of devil brings sorrow and anguished to his adherent' he stressed. 


He explained that , to win more souls for Christ, especially the youths , that was the reason clergies ,Ministers of God who are sons and daughters living within and outside the Gbaramatu kingdom come together to form Gbaramatu Interdenominational  Christian Fellowship ,GICF,  and devote a time each year to organize a prayer day for the kingdom. 

According to the cleric, it is act of ignorance for someone to attributes the natural endowment in human, natural and other community development as  blessings from the gods stating it is the blessing of God that deposits these blessings to the kingdom. 


The Redeemed Church of God pastor tasked clerics of GICF, to continue prayers for more breakthrough for the Gbaramatu land and win more souls for Christ, affirming that as God's people, it was only prayers that is used as a weapon to change things for good.

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
