Delta Assembly member, Oharisi hails Okoh on his 50th jubil birthday

The Delta State House of Assembly member representing Ughelli North Constituency II, Hon. Prince Eric Oharisi, on Friday congratulated the Delta State House of Assembly member representing Ika South Constituency, Hon. Festus Okoh on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

In a congratulatory message on Friday, signed by Hon. Prince Eric Oharisi, commended the lawmaker, Hon. Festus Okoh for his show of commitment to the ideals of democracy and rule of law in his quality representation to the Ika South people and the State at large.

Oharisi while describing Hon. Festus Okoh as a gentleman endowed with wisdom and charisma to attract to his people dividends of democracy, saying that he has no doubt as to his capacity to handle matters of state interest, development and progress.

He said, “On behalf of my family, the good people of Ughelli North Constituency II, I celebrate with my friend, my brother on this special and memorable day of his 50th birthday anniversary.

“My brother you have brought your vast knowledge, experience and worthy ideas to bear in the discharge of the functions of your office and am in deed happy about it.

“I therefore urge you to continue in your quest to provide rich ideas in the House as we work together to support the Smart Agenda of the Ekweme of Africa and the Roadmaster, His Excellency, Sen. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.”

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has suspended its two-week warning strike it declared last week across all public universities in the country.
