COVID-19: NGO Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice set to hold Virtual Meeting On Sustaining Environment
The Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ) will on Wednesday hold a virtual programme themed, 'The Effect of Covid-19 to the Environment, Practical Ways to Sustain the Degraded Environment'.
The 3-day event is scheduled to hold on October 14, 21 and 28, 2020 by 12:00 noon via Zoom with the National Director, Sherrif Mulade present to grace the event.
Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Civil Society and Civic Engagement, Rex Anigorho will speak on the role of CSOs, NGOs and IOCs, in the remediation of the environment.
Amongst many other speakers, a representative from the Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja will talk on the government strategic plans in sustaining the environment from degradation amidst COVID-19.
