Tribunal: What Gbagi Knows About Delta 2023 Election

Judicial intervention has become an integral part of our electoral process, as a lawyer, criminologist, and gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in the March 18, 2023 election, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON is aware that the governorship election in the state was a well-planned and coordinated crime implemented statewide and the outcome of that must not be allowed to stand.

As a law-abiding citizen, Gbagi strongly believes that the Judiciary is the only legitimate channel to address his grievances against the conduct of the election, he took the step of seeking a redress.

Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, a former minister (State) is among those challenging the announced victory of Sheriff Oborevwri in the Governorship election that was not conducted by the 2022 Electoral Law. Other candidates whom he dragged into the legal process were to prove that they were qualified to contest the election at that time.

Credible sources have revealed that tribunals sitting in most of the states including Delta State, are putting finishing touches to their judgements. It is already expected by abusers of the system that Chief Gbagi will not accept a miscarriage outcome.

It could be recalled that even with the introduction of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) some politicians still found a way to abuse the process to achieve their aims, the Delta State governorship elections were a massive heist planned and executed across the state, the Tribunal should take note.

Deltans are praying for substantive Justice not just Judgement of technicalities, there is hope that judges in the election petition tribunal will do a good job for the State to be liberated.
