A group, Frontier Ladies for Sheriff (FLS), has congratulated the immediate past Managing Director of DESOPADEC, Bashorun Askia Ogieh as he celebrate his birthday anniversary today 12 September, 2023.

In a congratulatory message signed by the group’s Coordinator, Joyce Ese Okproko, described Ogieh as a visionary, committed and selfless leader, who contributed not only to Isoko nation but Delta state as a whole.

The group said the PDP Chieftain has displayed pragmatic leadership with selflessness and dedication by rendering quality services to people at the local, senatorial district, state and national levels both in the private and public sector.

According to the statement, “Ogieh's input in the growth and development of oil producing areas during his tenure as Executive Director, Finance & Administration and Managing Director, DESOPADEC is a clear testament to his visionary leadership.

"The interventionist agency's developmental strides in the oil producing areas are noticeable in every nooks and cranny of the host communities. His penchant for diligence and contributions toward the development of Delta’s socio-economic and political landscape based on his service to the people in different capacities in the past without any iota of doubt made him patron to so many political pressure groups including ours.

“On this occasion of his birthday, we wish our patron, good health and wisdom, as he continues to render more services to our dear state and country," it added.
