AHEAD of the 2023 campaigns, Delta South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has dished out hope for qualitative education and infrastructural development through productive representation.

Joel Onowakpo Thomas, popularly known as (JOT), during his campaign with ward leaders and his party faithful on Wednesday, February 8th 2023 in Ayakoromo, Burutu local government area of Delta State, promised to complete the Ayakoromo bridge, support free education and attract more constituency projects.

A journey to Ayakoromo informed the position that Delta South Senatorial seat 2023 is beyond Judging Joel as a member of the APC. Everyone in Delta South needs development. There is no doubt that Joel will give the best of representation and attract development.

Beyond the APC factor, Joel is a leader with uncommon pedigree and clout to solve problems of infrastructural deficit, transportation and education in Ijaw, Itsekiri and Isoko communities.

The people of Ayakoromo have see how their adventures in the People's Democratic Party, PDP could not complete that simple bridge that was given a big-for-nothing name by Governor Okowa's-led administration.

They called it a multi-billion naira contract yet it was awarded to a contractor who knows how to do poor quality jobs. After dribbling the people, the-same PDP government claimed that it has cancelled the contract for the bridge due to poor performance by the contractor.

If not JOT, It would be foolish to repeat a mistake that is costly perhaps the PDP multi-billion naira mistake of not completing a bridge that will connect some Urhobo and Ijaw  communities, Ughelli and Burutu.
Joel's profile represents the diversity that maximises political participation of win-win situation that makes no one feels short-changed, Hence, Delta South Senatorial District position is beyond party consideration and sentiments.

Jowel Onowakpor will focuses on long-term betterment beyond short-term personal gains, if elected, Delta South Senatorial District would experience the joy of robust representation.

Delta South Senatorial district is made up of 4 (four) indigenous tribes namely Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri and Urhobo, covering Bomadi, Burutu, Isoko North, Isoko South, Patani, Warri North, Warri South and Warri South West.
