Steer Clear from Tompolo's Pipeline Surveillance Job, Face Your Olu's Contract... Activist Warn Itsekiri Leaders

Steer Clear from Tompolo's
Pipeline Surveillance Job, Face Your Olu's Contract... Activist Warn Itsekiri Leaders

Niger Delta Human Rights Activist, comrade Daniel Ezekiel has berated ltsekiri leaders for calling on
the Federal Government to decentralize the pipeline security contract awarded to the Niger Delta living legend, High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo alias Tompolo.

The activist in a statement to FocalPoint Reports, on Thursday,
reacted with displeasure and strongly condemned Itsekiri leaders Who were led by Hon. Michael Diden to call for the decentralization of Tompolo's Surveillance contract, during a visit to High Chief Bibopere Ajube (Shoot-at-sight) at his Agadagba-Obon, residence in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State,

Ezekiel Daniel described those who visited Bibopere Ajube as self-proclaimed Itsekiri leaders and their voices are nothing good but mere distractions and should not be taken seriously.

He added that the statements made by the so-called Itsekiri leaders are provocative, misguided, and capable of causing ethnic crisis if Ijaws decide to give attention to them. He warned them to steer clear of Tompolo's Surveillance contract and focus attention on their Olu of Warri who have the largest chunk of contract.

According to him, "This outburst is very provocative, a clear recipe for crisis between peace-loving Ijaws and their Itsekiri neighbors.

"It is pertinent to ask these questions at this point; which contract should be decentralized to Kuku and Bibopere because the last time l checked, the Arogbo axis which they came from had no single drop of oil and pipeline, so what are these disgruntled elements going to protect ?.

"Also, it is a well-known fact that Olu of Warri has the biggest chunk of the job that spans across Delta, Edo, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross Rivers states. What stopped these hypocritical Itsekiri leaders from also demanding the decentralization of their kinsmen's jobs?

"If they are sincere and truly want fairness? Without mincing words, their press statement is born out of age-long hatred for Ijaws, which if allowed to continue will be detrimental to the well-being of the state.

"Action they say speaks louder than words. In the jaundice press release, both sides proclaimed fidelity to peace which is a clear opposite to their body language and outburst.

"The reason why there is so much animosity, ganged up and hatred towards Tantita is because of the none compromising nature with which Tompolo is fighting oil thieves and other economic sabotage acts, which these guys are deeply into".

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity

Olu Of Warri Defends Tradition, Speaks on Christianity  The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ã’gíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III, has dispelled the insinuation that there is a conflict between the traditional thrones and Christendom. The monarch, who stated this when he received the Soun of Ogbomoso land, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, in his Palace in Warri Kingdom, Delta State, said that the two institutions were not necessarily antithetical. He also debunked the assumption that traditional institutions were synonymous with fetishism and the worship of creations made by human beings and reasoning. He, however, noted that the two institutions can play complementary role that will contribute to the growth and development of the country. The Olu, who said he was elated by the Soun’s visit, said the new Ogbomoso monarch’s choice of Warri kingdom as his first place of visit was divinely directed, just as his choice for the throne was divinely ordained. He said that they owe i

Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins

Many Benefited as Tantita Save Niger Delta From Enviromental Ruins  It is on record over the past twenty years in the Niger Delta region, South-South Nigeria where incessant fire disaster and untimely death was on the increase in weekly basis as result of the activities of illegal oil bunkering, especially the process of local refining popularly known as Kpo-Fire. The menace also renders our young married ladies widows in the ljaw riverine communities because most of their life partners venture into the Kpo-Fire business due to its lucrative nature in making quick money. To proof your doubt, take a tour to any of the ljaw riverine communities across Burutu, Warri South-West, Bomadi, Patani in Delta State, and Southern ljaw, Ekeremor, Nembe and Brass LGAs in Bayelsa State, you will discovered that most of our youths are facially disfigured in parts of their body as result of severe fire accident incurred during cooking and burning (refining) of crude oil to kerosene, fuel and desiel for
