NPA begins towing of indiscriminately parked trucks on port corridor

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced plans to commence aggressive towing of trucks parked indiscriminately along Apapa Port access roads as part of renewed efforts to restore traffic order and ease persistent gridlock around the nation’s busiest maritime corridor. In a public notice circulated to members of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO), the port authority said the operation would target trucks obstructing traffic and causing congestion along port approaches. However, following an appeal by AMATO’s leadership, the NPA has granted a short grace period to enable the association sensitise its members and ensure immediate compliance with the directive. Abia State Governor Alex Otti has announced that the state will begin settling the verified gratuity and pension arrears that have remained unpaid since 2001, describing the backlog as a burden the state can no longer ignore. Bandits Kidnap Farmers, Pregnant Women In Niger State

Bandits have abducted twenty farmers, including four pregnant women and several children, in Unguwan-Kawo, Erena Ward, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State. It was gathered that the farmers were abducted from their farms around 4 pm on Wednesday, 26th November, while they were harvesting rice. Armed attack disrupts church crusade in Nasarawa community

A church crusade in Agboda community, located in the Mararaba Udege area of Nasarawa Local Government Area, was disrupted on Monday evening following an attack by unidentified armed men, during which one participant sustained machete injuries. Speaking by phone, the organiser of the crusade, Dr. Daniel Ukpo, said the incident occurred between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. when participants gathered for the programme. According to him, people began running for safety after receiving reports of an attack in a nearby community. “One of the youths in the community was attacked while riding his motorcycle and suffered a machete cut. ABUJA — THE Nigeria government and the United States have agreed on some areas they need collaboration to tackle the worsening security situation in the country, the Presidency has said. The agreement includes the immediate implementation of a non-binding cooperation framework and establishment of a Joint Working Group to ensure a unified and coordinated approach to the agreed areas of cooperation. Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has directed all private and public secondary schools in the state to immediately deboard their students following rising insecurity and mass abductions across the country. The Niger State chapter of the Christian (CAN) has revised the number of abducted persons from St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, Agwarra LGA, raising the figure from 227 to 315. House of Reps Urge Tinubu to Address Security Issues

Breaking: Drama as judge orders security to take Nnamdi Kanu out of courtroom

ABUJA– Trial Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja Kanu ordered security agents to bundle the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, out of the courtroom, after he insisted that judgement would not be delivered in the terrorism charge the Federal Government entered against him. Tuggar rejects claims of Christian genocide in Nigeria, says figures ‘Inaccurate’

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, has dismissed claims by a civil society group alleging a large-scale genocide against Christians in the country. Bandits kill three, abduct worshippers during Kwara church service

Rampaging bandits have shot three people dead, while no fewer than ten persons were abducted inside a church in Eruku in the Ekiti local government area of Kwara state on Tuesday in a renewed onslaught. One Killed, Students Abducted As Terrorists Attack Kebbi Girls’ School

Terrorists in the early hours of Monday attacked the Maga Comprehensive Girls’ Secondary School in Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State.  The gunmen abducted an unspecified number of female students and killed a staff member.
