Mrs Oke Okoro died after battling with ill heath for some months. Her ill Heath bacame pronounced after loosing her husband, Late Odion Patrick Okoro, on the 7th, August 2022 while receiving medical care at Austin Royal health facility in Oleh, Isoko South LGA.Patrick Okoro was hailed from Otor-Owhe and lived in Owhe-logbo in Isoko North Local government are of Delta State Nigeria, he was buried on the 19th of November 2022

Mummy Oke Okoro passed to rest at the age of 74, after she lived a fulfilled live of seeing all her grandchildren.

She was more fulfilled seeing her last daughter Ajiri Okoro got married to  Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala, media assistant to the Late former minister of state for education Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON.
Coincidentally, Gbagi was there durring the marriage ceremony of her last daughter, Ajiri and Ezekiel Kagbala. Just a week to her husband, Patrick Okoro's. Burrial ceremony. On the 12day of November 2022.

Her most fulfilled moment was seeing her last daughter, Mrs. Ajiri Kagbala gave birth to a baby girl, Empress Effie Kagbala on the 25th December 2023 in Warri.
Before her death on the sickbed, It all came as a shock to her when that the Ex-Minister Gbagi was dead. 

Eventually, sister Okoro died the day Gbagi was buried on the 12th of July 2024. With the proactivness of her son, Obaro Okoro to carry out the wishes of his mother, She was buried the next day, on the 13th. After an encouraging funeral talk at the kingdom hall of Jehovah's witnesses in Owhe-logbo, after which her remain was moved to Otor-Owhe where she was laid to rest alongside her husband.

She left behind a good name and a valuable relationship with God and humanity.

Mummy Okoro was laid to rest by the side of the husband, awaiting resurrection in harmony with Jehovah's will for mankind, in accordance with what is recorded at Revelation 21:4-5

Retired police officers protest over unpaid pensions

Some retired police officers under the contributory pension scheme on Tuesday, May 21, protested at the National Assembly over alleged several months of unpaid pensions with a call on President Bola Tinubu to remove them from the scheme. The protesters decried the extreme challenges they endure, saying that the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) has failed to pay their entitlements for several months causing them and their families untold hardship.
