Zik Gbemre Berates Foul Mouthed Emmanuel Arodovwe over Hate Speech Against Gbagi in Death  Late Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, OON,  It would not have been my place to respond to the malicious smear campaign by a certain foul mouthed Emmanuel Ogheneochuko Arodovwe, directed against Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, if the highly accomplished Ughievwen son, lawyer, investor and politician were still alive. Gbagi would have cleared the air. He fended off bigger character assassinations against his name before he joined his forbearers recently. Besides if left to fester, the erroneous impression Arodovwe has created about Gbagi in death might be interpreted as the position of the Urhobo Historical Society, UHS.  Clearly from tone of Emmanuel Ogheneochuko Arodovwe, this hate against Gbagi in death is a hatchet job for his paymaster. What it is intended to achieve still beats my imagination. Gbagi contested and lost the 2023 Delta guber election under SDP. It is not proper to run a man of

Labour rejects FG’s N62,000 minimum wage offer, may resume strike on Tuesday The organised labour says it will not accept N62,000 or N100,000 as the minimum wage for workers. Speaking on ‘Morning Brief’, a Channels Television programme, on Monday, Chris Onyeka, assistant general secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), said the union will not negotiate a ”starvation wage”. The labour unions had embarked on the strike after negotiations with the federal government on a new minimum wage hit a brick wall. The organised labour had repeatedly proposed N615,500 and N494,000 as the new national minimum wage, which the government said was unrealistic. On June 7, the federal government increased its offer for the new minimum wage for workers from N60,000 to N62,000; the labour unions insisted on ₦250,000 at the last meeting of the tripartite committee on minimum wage as the livin
